Massimo Popolizio directs Lino Guanciale in a choral and poignant performance that resounds with energy. Based on Pasolini’s novel (1955), eighteen young actors stage the stories of a rough Roman neighbourhood and its grotesque and violent protagonists. Three awards for direction (Ubu Prize, Critics Prize and Le Maschere Prize), dramaturgy by Emanuele Trevi.
