A brilliant film debut by well-known Neapolitan engineer cum philosopher De Crescenzo, becomes a perfect theatrical mechanism, pitting professor Bellavista (Geppy Gleijeses) against Cazzaniga (Gianluca Ferrato). The latter is a manager who has unexpectedly arrived from northern Italy. The famous dilemma about whether “men attracted/guided by love” are better than “men attracted/guided by freedom” dissolves into a comic-tragic plot led by an irrepressible Marisa Laurito.
