Italo Svevo’s novel is a complex masterpiece of 20th-century literature that recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. The main character, Zeno Cosini, represents a general feeling of existential malaise, neurosis, and the inability to connect with the world and reality, making him a contemporary anti-hero. He is accompanied by Doctor S., who portrays Zeno’s surreal, ironic, and sometimes deceitful nature, set in the atmosphere of his native Trieste and its extraordinary characters. In a new production by Paolo Valerio Alessandro Haber plays Zeno alongside a cast including Francesco Migliaccio, Valentina Violo, Ester Galazzi, Riccardo Maranzana, Emanuele Fortunati, Francesco Godina and Meredith Airò Farulla.
