She makes socks in a Milan factory and makes love without any fuss, causing occasional scandal in people’s eyes, especially those of men. Her life story is an invitation to pursue one’s dreams and have faith in the future without ever surrendering, defending everything that counts. Marina Rocco stars in the title role with Mariella Valentini, Luca Sandri and Filippo Lai. This production, directed by Andrée Ruth Shammah, was made to mark the centenary of Giovanni Testori’s birth.
